What are your names?

Cara and Richard.

How old are you?

Cara is 19 and Richard is 20.

Where do you live?

Cara lives in Massachusetts, USA and Richard lives in West Yorkshire, England when he is not teaching snowboarding in Canada during winter.

How long have you been together?

Since August 10th, 2011.

How long have you known each other?

Since November 2010. It took just about two weeks for Richard to realize he wanted more than friendship. While the distance made Cara hesitant, she eventually admitted her feelings as well.

How did you meet?

Through a tinychat room! There’s a tight-knit group of the same people from all over the world who always chats on that page, and many of them keep in contact via Skype outside of tinychat. Richard and Cara first “met” each other in that room and eventually moved on to Skype. Cara found the page via her best friend.

What are your time zones?

Richard is five hours ahead of Cara… makes for some very late nights!

When will you meet up? What are your plans for when you do?

Cara had the lucky opportunity to travel abroad to London as part of a freshman-year experience through college, and met Richard in the fall 2011 semester. It was a tough year waiting, but we both know it’s worth it!

What are your interests?

Richard and Cara are both big on video games and the internet. We actually play Team Fortress 2 together (But he’s much better than me…) Richard is an electrician and a certified Snowboard Instructor and he loves to not only board but also skate. Cara is a full-time student entering college this fall with interests in studio art and design.
